CHANCES Music Video for Shacar
As a member of the Icon Generation team, I was extremely excited to work on this project. This was an excellent opportunity for me to showcase my skills and collaborate with other talented individuals.
My primary responsibility was to create an engaging and captivating title scene. This required me to pay close attention to detail and utilize my knowledge of motion tracking, colour grading, and compositing. I began by analyzing the footage of the title scene, understanding the camera movement and the placement of the text within the frame.
Using Adobe After Effects, I motion-tracked the text and created/added particles to the scene. This ensured the text would move seamlessly along with the camera movement. I also added film burns to create a more textured and visually appealing effect on the text. I carefully selected the right footage to ensure that the text would be prominent without being too distracting and that the colours would complement the overall theme of the video.
In addition, I also played with the opacity of the background footage to further enhance the visual impact of the title scene. By lowering the opacity of the footage, I was able to make the text stand out even more and create a more captivating effect.
Overall, working on this project was a rewarding experience for me, as I was able to contribute my skills and expertise to create something truly exceptional. I learned a lot from my colleagues and the project director, James Abers.
